Our client is a financial services provider headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in online trading services, particularly in Forex, with an established operational presence in Matn.
The accountant will join the finance team and play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, client balances, third-party provider positions, and daily operational reporting. The role will also contribute to broader accounting and financial operations activities within the business.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts, payment service providers, and external financial counterparties
- Reconcile client balance data across internal systems and trading platforms
- Prepare and maintain daily financial and performance reports
- Record financial transactions and update accounting systems with operational data
- Support general ledger maintenance and accounting activities
- Assist in processing client-related financial transactions and withdrawals
- Provide operational and finance support as required by the business
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, reconciliations, finance operations, or back-office functions within financial services, fintech, banking, brokerage, payments, or digital asset industries
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with finance and operational teams
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable handling large volumes of financial and operational data
