Job Description

 A Media and advertising company, located in Oman, is hiring an Account Manager in their offices.

Working as a Account Manager requires you to be a good leader and have excellent analyzing skills. As a part of this job, you will be creating campaigns that can help clients reach their targeted audience, and understanding the market before you create the plan of action for the campaigns.  

You also need good communication and interpersonal skills to help keep the team motivated and to help them come up with new and innovative ideas. 

Job Description:

  • Research, presentations, strategies, reporting, budgeting and sign-off of campaigns.
  • Take all necessary measures to gain in-depth understanding of the client’s business, localized insights, their issues, opportunities and objectives to develop an effective media strategy, and brand communication ideas leading to work that is more relevant to client’s requirements ranging from Banks, E-Commerce, retail/ FMCG, Automotive, Financial institutions, Telecom, Oil & Gas, ministries, electronic products or any other.
  • You have to come up with new and innovative initiatives and ideas for client products and services.
  • Explore the new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for identifying press opportunities to increase the visibility of the clients in the market.
  • In-charge of media the business and working closely with the team to ensure timely development and execution of plans, campaigns, growth and profit goals.
  • The employee will be responsible for negotiating with the media channels to run the ad campaigns of various clients.
  • The media Buyer/planner has to ensure the promotion of additional projects and create strategy, plans & presentations for new product launches according to the budget provided by the clients.
  • Track and monitor briefs/campaigns against the scope of work, including planning and costing. Attending all client and agency meetings leading the key role in driving the set agenda.
  • Identify the local talents and enhance their knowledge in advertising, digital and marketing strategy to put them front end to the client where required.
  • Take the support of the associate agencies involved in media and event/event activities to provide the clients with a comprehensive, consistent and cohesive solution.
  • Conducting press conferences and briefings and also scanning the media industry for new trends.
  • Monitoring the online and offline campaigns to provide results for the reports
  • Maintaining a cordial relationship with media houses to promote the products and services.

Job Requirements:

  • You need to have a Bachelor’s degree in communications and media. 
  • You should have at least 4 years of experience working in a media buying or brand agency. 
  • The media Buyer/planner has to also show reports on the best and most effective media presentation & strategy, campaigns during your career. 
  • The applicant should have the ability to create dissemination by using different media channels (ATL and BTL). 
  • The media Buyer has to be an analytical thinker and should possess a gentle nature and excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with media houses. 
  • The candidate should have strong research skills and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • For this job role, the person should have to maintain incredible accuracy in reports and documents.
