Our client, a renowned services and solutions company located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is recruiting a Broadcast IT Engineer:
Responsibilities:
-Work on project delivery and support.
-Install new hardware and software.
-Troubleshooting network and software issues.
-Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues.
-Responding to general IT requests.
-Ensuring security software is kept up to date.
-Track and manage work record
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
-3+ years experience in broadcast IT
-Good understanding of non-linear TV production , newsroom ,automated playout and archive workflows
.-Experience in implementing or supporting any of the above workflows with systems from Avid (Editing, storage,newsroom,PAM,MAM) , Vizrt (Graphics) ,EVS (PAM , video servers) , Harmonic video servers ,Imagine video servers and automation , Pebble Beach automation.
-An advanced understanding of one of the mentioned systems and good knowledge of the rest is acceptable.
-Experience in routing and security (CCNP level) is a plus.
-Strong knowledge of windows/Linux OS is a plus.
-Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
-Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
