Job Description

Our client, a Facility Management company in Beirut is recruiting a CEO:



  • Formulate overall strategy, ensure its implementation and set goals for the purpose of growing the business
  • Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives
  • Oversee daily operations of the business
  • Roll out a strong Sales function in collaboration with the Head of Sales & Marketing
  • Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the service offerings to clients, while abiding to industry highest standards
  • Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Provide higher management with annual and long-term budgets
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Set company policies and processes
  • Provide direct management for key functional managers
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and talent development programs for new employees
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management, communicating activity updates and key results and providing all relevant information on issues that have relevant and serious effect on the company
  • Provide solutions to any upcoming business issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Have the ultimate responsibility of the profitability of the company



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • A Master Degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, maintenance or facility management
  • Background in Facilities Management or a similar market sector
  • Experience with budget and business plan development
  • Successful previous experience at a CEO or MD role
  • Background in FM with focus on Technical Maintenance, Cleaning and Hospital Cleaning/House Keeping
  • Proven track record of developing people and commercializing all aspects of a business
  • Having a demonstrable record of growth within this market sector or similar markets
  • Good knowledge of the Designated Geography – aware of the latest market trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future
  • Experience with an ERP system is a plus
  • Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus
