Job Description

A Telecommunication company in Hazmieh is looking for a CFO:

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for group owned companies.
• Monitor the overall financial operations.
• Coordinate with individual companies’ chief accountants/financial managers and provide financial support.
• Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.
• Prepare budgets and propose action plans to ensure that financial objectives are attained.
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Track the financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision-making.
• Provide advice on how to increase revenue and decrease costs.
• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
• Coordinate with outside lawyers.
• Ensure that all tax documents are produced as required.
• Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk.
• Research and analyse financial reports and market trends.
• Lead any Merger and Acquisition process.
• Perform capital budgeting to study the economic feasibility of potential projects.
• Evaluate companies.
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4-5 years’ experience in a CFO role.
• Extensive Expertise in Multinational and Multi Currency Corporations.
• Extensive Expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions as well as in preparing Consolidated Financial Statements.
• Strong Banking Relations.
• Superior Mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details.
• Leadership and Management skills and experience.
• Understanding of Data Privacy Standards.
• Solid Communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Computer Knowledge especially Microsoft applications.
• Multi-tasking and work under pressure abilities.
