Job Description

A multinational Telecom company and one of the leaders in telecom infrastructure and power as well as network rollout and development is recruiting a Head of ESCO Operations for 5 countries based in the Ivory Coast:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the tracking of all ESCO equipment from the order to the clearance of customs locally
  • Ensure the proper installation of ESCO equipment on sites from civil works to commissioning, in compliance
    with Support Group rules
  • propose and define the annual and revised budgets of the roll-out activities under his/her responsibility In close collaboration with the regional financial team
  • Ensure the preventive maintenance completion and the proper operation of the ticket management
  • Responsible for the Energy availability on ESCO sites and the level of Penalties towards the client
  • Incident follow up and root cause analysis
  • Responsible for the spare parts management
  • Ensure the RMS visibility of ESCO sites, accurate FMS inventory and equipment lifetime tracking
  • Propose optimization plans to decrease the fuel and grid consumption on sites
  • Security management with the tracking of theft and damages on ESCO sites and ensure the implementation
    of appropriate action plans to limit the risk
  • Confirm with the client the roll-out plan every year with accurate information
  • Responsible for the recycling of all equipment and consumables reaching the end of life
  • Ensure that all activities are compliant with CSR requirements from the Group

 

Requirements:

  • Engineering College training specialized in telecommunications
  • 5 years of a University Education in management, with a specialization in Industrial Engineering (industrial
    management, operations management…) or in construction/telecommunications
  • MBA Business management is a plus
  • African experience is a must
  • A diversified experience of minimum 10 years in Project Management and roll-out activities
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end project management
  • Knowledge of telecommunications sector: products and services
  • Significant experience in team management
  • Strong interpersonal and business skills
  • Skills in overall management of activities: management, economics, human resources…
  • Mastery of office software packages and New Information and Communication Technologies
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical and synthetic skills
  • Skilled and Persistent negotiator
