A multinational engineering Food technology company is looking for Project Manager with a strong background in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, ideally with an engineering foundation or extensive experience managing implementation projects in this sector. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, resilient, and dynamic, capable of taking ownership from project initiation through to successful completion.
The Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing project implementation once the sales process concludes. This includes translating customer technical requirements into actionable plans, aligning supplier capabilities with project scope, assigning site managers, tracking timelines, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress. The role demands consistent communication, technical awareness, and close coordination to ensure projects follow the established sequence and meet performance, budget, and schedule expectations.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
- Define clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identify dependencies and manage the project’s critical path.
- Track progress against the plan, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation across all phases.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the main liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure clear and timely communication to align expectations and resolve issues.
Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor and resolve issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and client expectations.
Budget & Cost Management
- Develop, monitor, and control project budgets.
- Handle scope, schedule, and budget adjustments as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide customers with timelines for future milestones and completions.
- Keep comprehensive project records and documentation up to date.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSc), or equivalent technical diploma (BTS) with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Food & Beverage processing or equipment manufacturing industry.
- Strong industry network and familiarity with processing line components such as blowers, fillers, labelers, packers, etc.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
