An International Lighting Company headquartered in USA with offices in Cyprus, KSA and Lebanon is hiring a Business Development Manager/VP Sales join their team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager/VP Sales with a focus on the GCC and African markets. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and a proven track record in driving sales growth within the specified regions. This role will play a critical part in expanding our market presence and driving revenue through strategic business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share and achieve sales targets in the GCC and African regions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including establishing relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Lead the sales team in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized lighting solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business and projects.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil) is preferred. Business Administration with a strong background in the field will also be considered.
- Proven track record of 7+ years in sales and business development roles within the GCC and African markets, preferably in the contracting, engineering, consultancy, or construction material sectors.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, market dynamics, and customer needs within the specified regions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- This position requires frequent travel within the GCC and African regions.
