A Contracting & Waterproofing Company in Metn, Lebanon is looking for a Site and Tendering Engineer.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Follow up and organize site staff duties to fulfill department’s needs.
- Quality control with quality site report.
- Cost Control for project either done or in progress.
- Coordinate and communicate with engineers, clients, and other consultants to complete quality projects on time.
- Ensure receiving accurate data for producing as-built drawings/documentation/reports and flag potential deficiencies, critical paths, and disseminate to Design Team and clients.
- Conduct periodic review of the plans and technical docs to ensure quality control.
- Monitor schedules to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Compile & reconcile data for stock provision.
- Enforce safety procedures.
- Follow up on all working hours and overtime of labor with all related reports to be delivered on due date.
- Deep involvement in site progress and needs from A to Z; site is under the responsibility of the project coordinator.
- Projects tendering.
- Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress to monitor quantity variations.
- Follow up on submitting measurements and continue till invoicing.
- Carry out regular site inspections and report problems resulting from technical defects to the head department.
- Follow up on the daily tasks report submitted by site coordinators to keep productivity in check; deep involvement is necessary.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing them with technical advice when needed, in coordination with HD.
- Follow up on project submittals such as the FIR (Field Inspection Report) and the IPC (Internal Payment Certificate), and all drawings in total coordination with the technical department.
- Follow up with other contractors on site to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Assist the Head of Department in preparing the Materials in stock provision report.
- Issue store requisitions and purchase orders as needed for the implementation work on sites.
- Follow up on the implementation teams with safety tools.
- Safeguard quality and safety guidelines throughout the projects.
- Strictly adhere to the general guidelines and priorities set by the Head of Department.
- Follow up with site coordinators to ensure work on sites is carried out according to the specifications cited in the project contracts.
- Follow up and plan progress of work with the implementation teams.
- Monitor the labor scheduling reports submitted by the site coordinators.
- Follow up on the Snag List at the end of every project to ensure proper handover.
- Submit to the HD the labor overtime reports and labor cards.
- Complete management as per site needs.
- Follow up and coordinate plan dispatching for the implementation teams.
Reporting Responsibilities
- Overtime Management: Monitor and report on overtime.
- Attendance Tracking: Oversee and document attendance records.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site inspections and evaluations.
- Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards and report discrepancies.
- Cost Control: Manage and report on project costs.
- Dispatching and Coordination: Oversee dispatching activities and coordinate with site coordinators.
- Stock Provision: Coordinate stock provision with site coordinators.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of on-site experience.
- Technical Proficiency:
