Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Lead to spearhead our efforts in acquiring new business opportunities and managing client relationships. This hybrid role combines strategic prospecting with hands-on account management, ensuring smooth transitions from acquisition to long-term partnership. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in expanding our market presence while delivering exceptional value to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets through strategic prospecting and networking.
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct client presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve acquisition targets.
- Account Management:
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing needs and concerns promptly.
- Sales Strategy and Growth:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow revenue and drive account growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs and growth potential.
- Revenue Achievement:
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through account management activities.
- Accurately forecast and report sales results, pipeline activity, and market trends to senior leadership.
- Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product, and customer service to ensure client success.
- Coordinate with product development to tailor offerings based on client feedback and industry needs.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to provide insights to clients.
- Regularly analyze and report on account performance, providing insights into client needs and competitive positioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field .
- 5-7+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in Cybersecurity.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a senior or strategic account management role.
- Iraqi resident
Skills:
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce,) and MS Office Suite.
