A leading provider of tobacco products in the African and Middle Eastern markets is currently hiring an Assistant Business Development Manager based in Dubai, who will play a critical role in supporting the Business Development Manager by managing customer administrative tasks and enabling a sharper focus on strategic initiatives. This position offers significant exposure to key international markets, with extensive travel and long-term growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Administration:
    • Manage order placements, pricing, costing, and customer follow-ups.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, contracts, and agreements.
    • Handle reporting and documentation to ensure smooth operational workflows.
  • Market Engagement:
    • Accompany the Business Development Manager to key market visits and customer meetings.
    • Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
    • Support business presentations and proposals during customer engagements.
  • Growth & Development:
    • Take on increased responsibilities to manage solo travel and customer management over time.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
  • High energy and strong general commercial acumen.
  • Fluent in Arabic; proficiency in English is required. French language skills are a plus.
  • Experience in the tobacco industry or FMCG sector is advantageous.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent travel.
