Job Description
A leading provider of tobacco products in the African and Middle Eastern markets is currently hiring an Assistant Business Development Manager already based in Dubai, who will play a critical role in supporting the Business Development Manager by managing customer administrative tasks and enabling a sharper focus on strategic initiatives. This position offers significant exposure to key international markets, with extensive travel and long-term growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Administration:
Manage order placements, pricing, costing, and customer follow-ups.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, contracts, and agreements.
Handle reporting and documentation to ensure smooth operational workflows.
Market Engagement:
Accompany the Business Development Manager to key market visits and customer meetings.
Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Support business presentations and proposals during customer engagements.
Growth & Development:
Take on increased responsibilities to manage solo travel and customer management over time.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiencies.
Qualification and Skills:
The candidate must be already based in Dubai- UAE
High energy and strong general commercial acumen.
Fluent in Arabic; proficiency in English is required. French language skills are a plus.
Experience in the tobacco industry or FMCG sector is advantageous.
Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent travel.
