A Bakery Manufacturing Company located near Bikfaya is currently hiring a Production Manager:
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Industrial Engineering and 3 to 7 years of experience, preferably in the food industry. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing and improving our production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate production processes, identify areas of improvement, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and utilisation of resources.
- Monitor and maintain product quality through effective quality control procedures.
- Implement and oversee Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely equipment maintenance and repairs, minimising downtime and disruptions to production schedules.
- Prepare and present reports on process improvements, cost savings, and other key performance metrics to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques.
- Experience with process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools.
- Familiarity with capacity planning techniques.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
