A leading global company in the heavy industry sector, specialized in building materials is currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance manager, to join their team in the North of Lebanon.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical maintenance execution team, ensuring that plant equipment operates reliably and efficiently, meeting targeted production levels, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Promote and strictly enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across all maintenance operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability while minimizing operational costs.
- Apply Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), align with company policies, and optimize maintenance processes and organizational structures to ensure ISO compliance.
- Monitor maintenance systems to maintain their integrity and ensure spending aligns with the approved budget.
- Drive continuous problem-solving initiatives to enhance maintenance effectiveness and reduce downtime.
- Identify skill gaps and support the professional development of the team in line with technological advancements, plant needs, and certification requirements.
- Manage and prioritize capital expenditure (CAPEX) and major maintenance projects.
- Supervise contractor activities, including participation in contractor selection, job recommendation, and awarding processes, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5–7 years in a leadership role managing electrical maintenance, preferably within heavy industries.
- Solid background in cement manufacturing processes and equipment, including vertical roller mills (VRM), ball mills (BM), kilns, lubrication systems, gear mechanisms, coolers, dust collection systems, and material transport technologies.
- Certified in Holcim’s Maintenance & Engineering Development Program (MEDP) or equivalent technical development programs.
- Demonstrated leadership and team supervision abilities with a strong grasp of maintenance best practices.
- Proficient in the use of SAP for maintenance planning and management.
- In-depth understanding of HSE standards and legal requirements related to industrial maintenance.
- Skilled in project management, particularly within the context of industrial operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with knowledge of performance monitoring tools such as HARP and key technical performance indicators (KPIs).
