They are currently hiring a Finance Manager to join their team in Ghana. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day finance functions, managing a team of accountants and cashiers. The role involves supporting financial operations, fund planning, compliance, and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Financial Operations & Accounting

Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounting entries, cash collection, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments

Supervise the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data

Support the preparation of monthly financial reports including budgets, payables, receivables, and expenses

Assist in the consolidation of accounting books for internal and government reporting

Manage the payroll process in coordination with HR, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations and documentation

Review employee reimbursement and expense claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies

- Fund & Cash Flow Management

Assist in cash flow and fund planning (daily/weekly/monthly) to support business operations

Monitor collections and payments, ensuring timely settlements

Coordinate with vendors and resolve issues related to cheque payments or delays

- Sales & Procurement Support

Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to align finance with sales orders, pricing, and raw material procurement

Track customer payments, highlight overdue accounts, and escalate payment issues as needed

Assist with imports and related financial documentation for smooth customs and logistics processing

- MIS & Audit Support

Contribute to monthly MIS preparation and variance analysis

Coordinate with auditors and provide documentation and support for both internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal financial policies

- Team Leadership & Development

Lead a team of accountants and cashiers, providing coaching and support for day-to-day tasks

Monitor team performance, support training needs, and foster an accountable and collaborative team culture

Ensure timely approvals for leave, resource planning, and participate in team performance evaluations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA or equivalent certification is a plus)
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices, payroll processing, and cash handling
- Familiarity with the financial aspects of sales and procurement cycles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP tools (SAP preferred)
- Fluency in English required; local language is a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and support cross-functional collaboration
