The General Manager of the Furnished Apartments property will lead a team of staff members, manage budgets, develop marketing strategies, and collaborate with property owners to drive business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the furnished apartment complex, ensuring it meets high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Supervise and manage a team of property staff, including front desk personnel, maintenance workers, housekeeping staff, and security personnel.

Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to residents and guests, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive living experience.

Develop and manage the property's budget, track expenses, and revenue, and work to achieve financial targets set by the company.

Monitor occupancy levels, work to increase occupancy rates, and implement strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.

Oversee the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting tours, screening tenants, and managing lease agreements.

Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs to ensure the property is well-maintained and any issues are promptly addressed.

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality service and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, housing laws, safety codes, and other relevant standards.

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the property, develop marketing strategies, and participate in campaigns to attract tenants.

Identify and generate leads through various channels, including online inquiries, referrals, networking, and outreach.

Prepare lease agreements, rental applications, and other necessary documents accurately and efficiently.

Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing tenants, providing excellent customer service and addressing their questions and concerns.

Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to position the furnished apartments competitively.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field (Master's degree can be a plus).

Several years of experience in Business Management, Hospitality with progressive responsibilities.
