Job Description

Our client, a leading facility services company in Lebanon is recruiting an HR Manager:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop HR procedures in compliance with Labor Law and internal company policies. In full agreement with the general manager of the company.
  • Explain the HR procedures to all department managers and ensure they explain it in turn to their team.
  • Organization of company structure, organizational chart and job descriptions.
  • Utilizes the HRIS system to eliminate administrative tasks, and meet the other needs of the organization.
  • Gather information about factors affecting employees’ moral, motivation and efficiency.
  • Discuss personnel needs with department supervisors to prepare and implement recruitment program.
  • Develop recruitment process and Responsible for recruitment, selection, interviewing of candidates and offer preparation.
  • Develop and conduct new employee orientation process to foster positive attitude towards company goals.
  • Develop performance appraisal process; initiate and follow up appraisal of personnel in accordance with company policy.
  • Responsible for training, development and performance appraisal of subordinates.
  • Develop training process, Conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads.
  • Monitor employees’ absence, vacations, sickness, leaves… Etc.
  • Confer with management and supervisory personnel in order to determine suitable corrective or development schemes according to needs
  • Advice department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities compensation and employee benefits.
  • Ensure smooth exit of terminated employees according to company policy.
  • Handle work injuries records and renewal of workmen compensation.
  • Represent the company at personnel related hearing and investigation.
  • Meeting with third parties and suppliers for achieving the development of the department such as (HRS representatives, training companies, insurance companies, activities & team building….)
  • Report to general manager all issues regarding the development of all personnel.
  • Responsible for the application of the Quality Management system related to the department and its continuous development.
  • Overlook and approve the payroll after completion and generation by the Payroll Officer.
  • Overlook the personnel files and records of employees and labors that are handled by subordinates.
  • Attend to major complaints that are not solved by the Floor Manager / Operations Manager / Department Managers to enhance grievance at the company.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in HR, business administration or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS office applications and HR softwares
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge in Lebanese labor law and NSSF regulations.
  • Knowledge in foreign recruiting process.
  • Punctual with ability to plan and organize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High ethical behavior.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and use data in decision making
