An International Tobacco Company located in Ivory Coast is currently hiring an HR Specialist – Recruitment & Training:

 

Role Overview:

 

The HR Specialist plays a critical role in the recruitment, onboarding, and initial training processes for employees in Ivory Coast. They are responsible for ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates to support the company’s growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Recruitment:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
    • Conduct interviews, assess candidates’ qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.

 

Onboarding:

    • Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
    • Facilitate orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and culture.
    • Coordinate with different departments to ensure new hires have the necessary resources and support to succeed in their roles.

Training:

    • Develop and deliver training programs tailored to the needs of different departments and job roles.
    • Assess training needs through employee feedback, performance evaluations, and organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials and resources.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as necessary.

 

Talent Pipeline Management:

    • Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing needsCultivate relationships with potential candidates and establish networks for talent sourcing.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities related to talent acquisition and retention.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment and training, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of successful candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Strong understanding of onboarding best practices and employee engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluency in both English and French languages is required.
