A leading private broadcaster based in Kinshasa, specializing in sports programming and gaming content, is hiring a dynamic and energetic Junior Commercial Manager to lead and expand a network of independent sales agents in Kinshasa. This role is hands-on, requiring field presence to drive sales, optimize point-of-sale performance, and support agents in achieving business success. The channel reaches audiences nationwide and via satellite across Africa and combines advanced technological infrastructure with a highly skilled editorial team to deliver high-quality programming and engage its viewers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Network Expansion & Retention: Recruit and onboard new agents and assistants, identify high-potential locations, and minimize agent turnover.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a sales team to ensure all points of sale are active, compliant, and performing efficiently.
- Agent Support & Training: Conduct training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques, ensuring profitability for both agents and the organization.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor logistical operations, including fund handling and distribution of marketing materials.
- Sales Activation: Execute field-level promotions and marketing initiatives to boost daily sales across all points of sale.
Qualifications
- Driven & Ambitious: Strong motivation to achieve results; previous experience is valued but not mandatory.
- Language Skills: Fluent in French (speaking, reading, writing) at a native level.
- Leadership Qualities: Capable of leading by example in the field and supporting team development.
- Relationship Management: Skilled at building connections, understanding agent challenges, and fostering growth.
