An Architecture firm based in Kuwait , with global projects in Architecture, Landscape and Interior Design, is currently looking for a Landscape Architect to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to landscape design for small to medium-scale projects, including private, cultural, and mixed-use developments
- Collaborate closely with architects and interior designers to ensure a cohesive design narrative between built form and landscape
- Assist in concept development, design research, and storytelling rooted in environmental, cultural, and site-specific contexts
- Prepare landscape drawings, including layout plans, sections, details, and planting strategies
- Conduct site analysis related to climate, topography, soil, vegetation, and environmental conditions
- Research plant species, materials, hardscape elements, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscape practices appropriate to each project
- Develop drawings for design development, documentation, and presentations
- Support the preparation of technical landscape drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with consultants and suppliers related to planting, irrigation, and outdoor systems
- Solve landscape-related design challenges while ensuring alignment with overall project vision
- Utilize landscape and architectural software tools to develop and refine designs
- Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of detail, accuracy, and design quality
Qualifications
- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related design field
- 2–4 years of professional experience in landscape architectural practice
- Strong design sensibility aligned with context-driven, environmental, and culturally sensitive landscapes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) is an advantage
- Knowledge of planting design, hardscape detailing, and landscape systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, studio-based team
- Strong representation, drawing, and presentation skills
