An international Voice and SMS Carrier company is looking for a Junior NOC support to ensure a smooth operation of the company's global network infrastructure for their offices in Cyprus. Fresh Graduates can apply!
Responsibilities
  • Continuous Monitoring: Oversee the global network 24/7, including voice, SMS, VSAT, TDM, and VoIP links, responding swiftly to alerts and outages as per standard procedures.

  • Incident Handling: Use a ticketing system to log, manage, and resolve issues efficiently, documenting all actions and escalating when needed.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and resolve network anomalies before they escalate, implementing preventative measures to enhance reliability.

  • Documentation: Maintain and update detailed records of network setups, incident reports, and configuration changes.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Apply knowledge of networking, VoIP, and SMS to analyze and resolve technical issues, including SIP, SS7, and SMS flow tracing.

  • Traffic Monitoring: Regularly assess traffic volume and quality for voice and SMS, investigating any irregularities to ensure optimal performance.

  • Equipment Oversight: Monitor network hardware to confirm optimal performance and functionality.

  • Customer Connectivity: Manage and monitor interconnections with customers, ensuring smooth voice and SMS traffic exchange.

Qualification
  • A degree in a relevant field is advantageous but not required.

  • Basic understanding of networking principles, VoIP, and SMS technologies.

  • Familiarity with incident management tools is beneficial but not essential.

  • Strong troubleshooting and trace analysis skills.

  • Ability to clearly document incidents, configurations, and procedures.

  • Clear and effective in both written and verbal communication

  • Takes initiative in identifying and addressing potential network issues.

  • Comfortable with rotating shifts and working in a 24/7 environment.

  • Credentials like CCNA or CCNP are considered a plus
