Job Description

A Wholesale Building Materials Company is seeking a dynamic Outdoor Sales Representative to join their team.

 

You will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and will be pitching high-quality flooring, wall, and ceilings solutions to engineers, architects, contractors, and interior designers. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent negotiation and closing skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Client Acquisition:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Conduct site visits and meetings with potential clients to demonstrate product benefits.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Maintain and grow relationships with an existing database of clients.
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales & Negotiation:
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
    • Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively.
  • Reporting:
    • Submit end-of-day sales reports detailing client interactions, sales progress, and other relevant metrics.

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in sales, with a preference for outdoor sales experience.
    • Background in interior design is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
    • Presentable, smart, and professional appearance.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
