Our partners, specialized in Sustainable Energies in the MENA region, with offices in Dubai, Iraq and Beirut, are currently hiring a Project Manager.

 

Job Overview

 

Our Partner is a fast-growing renewable energy solution provider. As a project manager in an energy company, your pivotal role extends to the development, construction, and upkeep of energy ventures. Your duties encompass supervising on-site operations, guaranteeing the effective execution of energy systems like solar, wind and Thermal and maintaining adherence to quality, safety, and environmental protocols across all stages of the project lifecycle.

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mostly renewable energy projects. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a deep understanding of EPC processes, and a commitment to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Establish and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members are aligned with project objectives.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
    • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
    • Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget and Cost Control
    • Oversee project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met.
    • Approve expenditures, track financial performance, and report on budget variances.
    • Optimize resource allocation and procurement processes to achieve cost efficiency
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on EPC projects in the renewable energy sector.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with renewable energy technologies and EPC processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
