A distinguished furnishing solutions company located in Lebanon is looking for a R&D Interior Designer.

It continues to expand, adapting to market demands while maintaining its responsibilities towards employees, society, and the environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate all products within the new collection, focusing on design aesthetics, functionality, and market performance.
- Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights from customers, sales teams, and stakeholders regarding product satisfaction and market demands.
- Develop and propose design improvements and new concepts based on research findings and sales data.
- Create prototypes, mock-ups, and 3D visualizations to test and demonstrate new product ideas.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to explore and integrate new materials, finishes, and technologies into product designs.
- Document research findings, design proposals, and project progress for presentation to senior management and stakeholders.
Education and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in interior design or product development, with a focus on research and development.
- Strong knowledge of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive design decisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present research findings and design proposals.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.
