A FMCG company available in Zouk Mosbeh is hiring candidates for Receivable Officer roles. The Receivables Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts receivable function of the organization. This includes recording daily receipts, processing returns, coordinating with the sales team and customers to ensure timely collections, and preparing detailed monthly reports to track receivables status and action plans.
Responsibilities
- Daily Receipt Management:
- Accurately recognize and record daily receipts.
- Ensure proper allocation of payments against invoices.
- Returns Processing:
- Record and manage customer returns.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies in returns.
- Receivables Follow-Up:
- Collaborate with sales team to monitor outstanding receivables.
- Maintain regular communication with customers for timely collections.
- Address and resolve any issues related to overdue payments.
- Monthly Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed aging of receivables reports.
- Track follow-up status and update collection efforts.
- Develop and maintain action plans for addressing overdue accounts.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all receivable transactions and communication with customers.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
