Our partners, a leading holding company in the steel industry, manage multiple subsidiaries across Africa specializing in manufacturing, processing, and distribution. They are currently hiring a Store Manager in Senegal.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, and monitor slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Coordinate procurement and logistics to ensure timely supply to production.
- Control costs and optimize storage and warehouse layouts.
- Oversee maintenance, hygiene, and security of all store assets.
- Lead, develop, and train the team while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Implement SOPs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with HSE and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Master’s in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred).
- Minimum 12 years in industrial store management, preferably in the steel manufacturing sector.
- Expertise in store management, process improvement (Kaizen/PMP), team leadership, strong result orientation, and proficiency in English.
