Our partners, a renowned midsize telecom company in Lebanon, are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Cluster - (Commercial & Customer Experience) to join their team.
This ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy, revenue growth, market positioning, and customer-centric transformation. The role will oversee sales & distribution, marketing & communications, customer operations, customer experience, and reporting, ensuring the delivery of sustainable business growth and superior customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and execute the commercial strategy across all market segments, aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead sales & distribution initiatives, ensuring effective channel management, dealer engagement, and regional coverage.
- Identify new revenue streams, business opportunities, and partnerships to expand market presence.
- Develop pricing, product, and service strategies to maximize market competitiveness.
Marketing & Communications
- Oversee the marketing strategy and brand positioning, ensuring consistent corporate messaging and market differentiation.
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging digital and traditional channels to enhance brand equity.
- Lead corporate communications, media relations, and public affairs, strengthening the company’s visibility and reputation.
Customer Operations & Experience
- Manage end-to-end customer operations, including call centers, service delivery, and customer support functions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of customer experience (CX) programs, ensuring seamless journeys across all touchpoints.
- Establish and monitor CX performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to continuously improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Drive a customer-first culture across the organization, ensuring alignment between commercial initiatives and customer needs.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing commercial and CX teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- Collaborate with the CTO, CFO, and other C-level executives to align commercial, technological, and financial strategies.
- Represent the company in external engagements, including partnership negotiations, industry forums, and regulatory discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in the telecom sector, with significant exposure to commercial leadership, sales, and customer experience.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention.
- Strong expertise in sales & distribution models, marketing strategies, and CX transformation.
- Experience managing large teams, cross-functional projects, and strategic partnerships.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; French is an asset.
