Our partners, a renowned midsize telecom company, are looking for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) – People & Culture to join their executive leadership team.
This strategic role is responsible for shaping a high-performance, people-first culture that aligns with the company’s values and long-term vision. The CHRO will oversee all facets of human capital management including talent sourcing, employee relations, performance, organizational development, and governance.
Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Development
- Design and execute a talent acquisition strategy to attract, assess, and hire top talent in the telecom sector.
- Lead employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.
- Oversee onboarding, career pathing, and internal mobility frameworks.
- Develop learning & development programs that support capability building, leadership growth, and digital transformation.
- Partner with business leaders to identify future skills needs and build workforce plans accordingly.
Employee Relations & Benefits
- Establish and promote positive employee relations and an inclusive workplace culture.
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to local markets.
- Handle grievance resolution, disciplinary procedures, and compliance with labor laws.
- Promote well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.
- Lead internal communication strategies to ensure transparency and engagement.
Performance & Incentives
- Implement and oversee the performance management framework across all business units.
- Drive a performance-driven culture through regular appraisals, feedback, and development planning.
- Design and administer incentive and recognition programs aligned with individual and business performance.
- Ensure fair and transparent evaluation and reward systems that support retention and motivation.
Organizational Development & Governance
- Lead organizational design initiatives that improve agility, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Align the people strategy with business objectives through effective change management and workforce planning.
- Maintain oversight of HR policies, processes, and compliance standards in line with legal and ethical governance.
- Drive cultural transformation programs to embed the company’s values and behaviors across all levels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on people-related risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/executive HR role.
- Experience in the Telecommunications or Technology sector is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's or MBA is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in talent strategy, organizational development, and HR governance in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and employee relations practices.
- Proven ability to lead cultural change, improve employee engagement, and drive business impact through people initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on operational capabilities.
