A leading food manufacturing company in Lebanon, with international distribution, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team in Lebanon.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Oversee accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and auditing.
- Manage cash flow and financial risks.
- Implement cost-control strategies, especially for production and raw materials.
- Ensure compliance with Lebanese tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Develop financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
- Coordinate with external auditors and banks.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support long-term business planning and executive decision-making.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to track performance against budgets and operational targets.
- Monitor financial KPIs and develop dashboards to support management visibility and planning.
- Optimize working capital through improved inventory, receivables, and payables management.
- Oversee financial modeling and scenario analysis for new projects, investments, and expansion plans.
- Enhance internal financial systems and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring proper training, development, and performance evaluation.
- Strengthen cross-department collaboration (production, supply chain, sales) to ensure financial alignment across operations.
- Review and approve major financial transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements from a financial perspective.
- Present financial updates and insights directly to senior management and the board when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in managerial and similar Senior Finance roles.
- Strong experience in financial management, accounting operations, compliance, and auditing.
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated financial and accounting expertise.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Leadership skills with proven people management capabilities.
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
