Our client, a leading player in the industrial sector, is seeking an experienced HR Manager with 10–15 years of progressive HR leadership. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating HR strategy, policies, and programs at the site level, in alignment with overall business and HR objectives.
The role ensures that HR policies, programs, and tools are effectively adapted and deployed at the site. The HR Manager advises and supports site leadership on all people-related matters, acting as a key strategic partner. In addition, this role functions as the Recruitment Manager for the site, overseeing all talent acquisition activities.
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s business strategy from an HR perspective.
- Design, implement, and monitor the site's annual HR plan in line with corporate objectives.
- Develop and drive communication and change management initiatives to support HR strategy.
- Structure and continuously improve the site’s HR organization and governance model.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Develop and adapt the sourcing strategy to meet evolving business needs.
- Oversee the requisition and validation process for open positions.
- Design and manage the end-to-end interview process, including shortlisting, selection support, and negotiation of compensation packages.
- Translate job pricing data into competitive pay offers for new hires.
- Performance Management & Development
- Implement and adapt performance management processes to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate the performance calibration process to maintain consistency and fairness in evaluations.
- Drive the creation and execution of individual development plans in coordination with managers.
- Support knowledge management initiatives and ensure that competency gaps are analyzed and addressed.
- Define and promote a learning and development strategy, including coaching, mentoring, training, and e-learning programs.
- Succession Planning & Career Development
- Identify key positions for succession planning and ensure robust talent pipelines.
- Contribute to assessment and development plans for successors.
- Promote leadership development and career management processes across the organization.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Manage individual and collective labor relations, including negotiations and implementation of labor agreements.
- Support the resolution of employee complaints, disciplinary issues, and conflict situations.
- Drive internal communications related to ethics, code of conduct, and company values.
- Promote and ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Communicate and educate employees on compensation and benefits programs.
- Monitor market trends to ensure competitiveness and fairness in compensation practices.
- HR Operations & Systems
- Develop and enforce standards for personnel administration, payroll, and time management.
- Manage relationships with external providers (consultants, tax experts, expatriate support, etc.).
- Define and implement HR KPIs and reporting frameworks, including forecasting and benchmarking.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead the employee engagement survey process including design, communication, result analysis, and action planning.
- Support initiatives that reinforce employer branding and internal engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Political Science, Business Administration, or Management.
- 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and industrial relations.
- Proven experience in organizational development, talent acquisition, and change management.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business performance.
- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with strong group awareness.
- Effective people management and development capabilities, including coaching and team leadership.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills across all organizational levels.
- Solid business understanding and strategic thinking to support company objectives.
- High client focus with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and tools.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with HR metrics, reporting, and benchmarking.
