A leading Electro-Mechanical solution provider company is hiring a Regional Sales Manager in Port Harcourt, Nigeria to lead their sales team in driving growth across their product portfolio, which includes power generators, cooling solutions, air compressors, elevators and escalators, and electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding market share and increasing product penetration.
- Oversee sales cycles, from prospecting and lead generation to contract closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine sales approaches.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the power, cooling, or electrical infrastructure industries.
- Proven track record in sales team leadership, strategy execution, and revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of power generators, cooling solutions, air compressors, elevators, and electrical infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
- Experience managing sales across multiple markets and industries.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a portfolio of high-value clients.
