A reputable Retail Fashion company located in Kuwait is looking for Store Manager, who will oversee all aspects of store operations, driving sales and profitability, managing inventory and costs, and ensuring optimal customer service and visual merchandising.
Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Monitor and analyse store and brand performance on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Achieve sales targets by optimizing store operations and reducing costs within budget limits.
- Lead initiatives to increase sales, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
- Evaluate store layout, space allocation, and product placement based on performance reports.
- Address stock issues, including slow-moving items and out-of-stock products.
- Organize and execute in-store promotional activities.
Visual Merchandising
- Collaborate with the VM team to ensure displays meet brand standards.
- Review and update visual displays regularly, especially for promotions or slow/fast-moving items.
- Maintain a clean and well-presented sales floor at all times.
Stock Loss & Inventory Control
- Supervise inventory levels, stock transfers, damages, and theft prevention.
- Control transactions such as refunds, discounts, and promotions.
- Ensure readiness and accuracy during inventory audits.
- Meet predefined stock loss targets.
Stock Management
- Ensure availability of best-selling and key items.
- Plan for adequate stock levels during special events and promotions.
- Monitor correct pricing and labeling of all merchandise.
Customer Experience
- Provide exceptional service and set a standard for the team.
- Train and guide staff in customer engagement.
- Maintain a strong relationship with key customers and manage the customer database.
- Promote awareness of online shopping services.
Team Leadership
- Create and manage staff schedules aligned with store traffic and business needs.
- Delegate responsibilities and motivate staff to achieve KPIs.
- Conduct daily briefings, in-store training, and performance evaluations.
- Identify training needs and ensure team development through structured plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and knowledgeable store environment.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and fully operational store environment.
- Conduct store audits and follow up on maintenance, licensing, and merchandising standards.
- Analyze weekly and monthly performance and report to the Area Manager.
Cash Handling
- Oversee daily cash and card transactions, petty cash, and POS system functionality.
- Ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliations and timely banking of cash.
- Submit financial reports as required.
Health, Safety & Security
- Implement safety protocols for customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion retail management
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven customer service excellence and team development
- Proficient in MS Office; fluent in Arabic and English
