We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client, focusing on expanding their presence in Iraq. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in business development within the Oil and Gas sector, with a strong focus on establishing and nurturing key relationships in the region to drive growth and maximize revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify potential clients, market trends, and the competitive landscape in Iraq within the Oil and Gas sector.

  • Analyse market data and provide insights to support the development of strategies for business expansion.

  • Identify new business opportunities by generating leads, networking, and building strong relationships with potential clients.

  • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further business.

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to provide tailored solutions to meet client needs.

  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and quotations to clients, ensuring alignment with their needs.

  • Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing to ensure profitable deals that benefit both EOI and the client.

  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager and other key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the Iraqi market to support long-term company growth.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the Oil and Gas sector in Iraq.

  • Represent EOI at industry events, conferences, and forums to promote our brand and foster relationships with key decision-makers.

Qualification
  • Previous experience in Iraq and/or Kurdistan.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Oil and Gas industry, with a focus on the Iraqi market.

  • Strong understanding of the Oil and Gas sector, including regional dynamics, market trends, and key industry players.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding business targets.

  • Fluent in both English and Arabic, written and spoken
