A leading food and beverage services company is currently hiring a F&B General Manager in Amman, Jordan.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in the food and beverage sector, along with a demonstrated history of success in leadership roles within comparable settings. This role goes beyond daily operations, offering the chance to play a key part in budgeting, developing marketing strategies, and managing teams—contributing directly to the long-term growth and success of the company.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Operations

  • Develop and implement corporate strategies, expand business lines, and lead new openings.
  • Oversee service quality, brand consistency, and customer experience across all outlets.
  • Ensure ethical business practices and maintain brand reputation.
  • Align operational initiatives with long-term company goals.
  • Supervise performance in retail, catering, and project units.
  • Motivate teams, enforce policies, and promote a high-performance culture.

Financial Management

  • Set and manage departmental budgets and control operational costs.
  • Analyze financial reports, ensure target achievement, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Approve payroll, vendor payments, bonuses, and oversee key financial processes.

Leadership & HR

  • Create and execute short- and long-term plans with department heads.
  • Lead team development, provide feedback, and ensure consistent professionalism.
  • Oversee project operations including inventory, supplier billing, and reporting.
  • Conduct leadership briefings and quarterly board meetings.
  • Assess training needs, manage recruitment and performance evaluations.
  • Represent the brand externally and ensure smooth internal communication.
  • Maintain physical assets and property conditions.

Marketing & Branding

  • Lead brand strategy, conduct market analysis, and define development plans.
  • Supervise campaign execution and present yearly marketing strategies to stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and sales growth through marketing efforts.

Daily Operations

  • Monitor day-to-day workflow in coordination with Operations Manager.
  • Establish safe procedures and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Review weekly reports (sales, cost, HR), and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Maintain excellent client and supplier relations, resolve escalations, and suggest improvements.
  • Coordinate with contractors for new projects and support departments with staff evaluations.
  • Communicate industry insights and support marketing efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management (Master’s a plus)
  • 15+ years of experience in F&B leadership roles
  • Strong communication, leadership, and crisis management skills
  • Ability to travel 
  • Background in hospitality, catering, or retail operations
  • Proactive, people-oriented, and solutions-focused
  • Strong ethical standards, decision-making, and analytical thinking
  • Knowledge of HACCP, market conditions, and industry trends
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
  • Effective in managing multicultural teams, timelines, and priorities
