We are looking for an SMS Carrier Relations Manager with a natural ability to establish strong working relationships while increasing profitability for the company. You are tenacious and charismatic in your approach to resolving obstacles and results-driven and action-oriented to getting the job done right. Commercially handle and manage a range of SMS accounts with the objective of ensuring profitability and traffic flow and maintaining good relations with the customers/suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Global Key Accounts.

  • Research and develop business opportunities with telecom carriers. Continuously seek new Customer Accounts.

  • Perform Business Case Analysis; manage, review and finalize NDA’s, contracts and commercial agreements associated with wholesale, international and carrier relations business.

  • Increase revenues and margins.

  • Negotiate quarterly deals, implement, and follow up on execution.

  • Perform pricing, margin enforcement, acquisition, and vendor management.

  • Represent the company in all major International Telecom Conferences.

  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with wholesale telecom carriers (customers & suppliers).

  • Negotiate favorable rates with carriers.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets .

  • Manage all necessary studies, analysis and cost calculations.

  • Utilize cost calculation methods to develop new price offerings for the company clients.

  • Manage the implementation of new carriers to the company’s network.

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on all issues relating to route management.

  • Attend industry trade shows.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS, Marketing, Economics or related field.

  • Experience in Carrier Relations Management.

  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

  • Basic understanding and creation of Financial Models and profitability

  • Ability to analyse cost variances and trends 

  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Exceptional negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

  • Monday to Friday | 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

  • Anywhere with availability for travel.
