February 2020 Jobs at Business Lobby
It’s no surprise that our nation is currently going through a crisis. At least I hope it is not. In times like these, many companies are seeking comfort and ways to adapt to the circumstances of our country, while shying away from extreme drastic measures. How would you feel if I told you that there are a few things you might be able to do as both an employee or an employer to support the company in such periods?
Employees must be serious about their own work
Let us consider employees as employers in this point. Yes, times are hard and yes all you might want to do is give up, but we all know you can’t. The company needs your full support and cooperation in order to maintain the status quo that the company has built for itself.
Say no to rumors
Rumors are the worst. We all hate them, we all get confused by them, and we all try to avoid them. Sometimes people find it efficient to spread rumors in order to exert some pressure on the company resulting in the attainment of goods. During a crisis, rumors will only get you further away from better circumstance. If those rumors spread outside the premises, the company will be facing a greater deal of backlash and suffering, and all the possible reasons that initiated that rumour would not only be ignored, but also might get worse.
Do Not panic
Take it step by step. I know it’s hard, but you can just hope for a better tomorrow. After all, it is no one’s specific fault. Try to maintain your mood and motivation, if not for you, do it for the others around you.
Let’s talk crisis
We all want to find the group responsible. And we all have different views and opinions, but I advise to keep them to yourself, or to the streets. There is no need to impose the outside circumstance in your workplace. You’re just inviting trouble.
Be honest, open, and straightforward
At times, companies won’t have the same revenues they always worked for and yes, it is very hard to believe. Extreme measures are to be taken and we all have to be ready for them. The most important thing is to let your employees know what and when something is happening.
Help and support
We need all the help we can get and maybe help is right around the corner. Talk to your costumers, talk to your suppliers, your partners, don’t be too shy. They might not be able to help, but it would be nice to know that you have a support system.
Echoes
Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!
